Dr. Alison Mantel, Orthodontist

An Inspired Practice

Dr. Mantel chose to become an orthodontist because of her passion for helping people change and improve their lives, including their aesthetics. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care and service to each and every one of her patients.

Seeing friendly and familiar faces every day inspires Dr. Mantel to come to work, and she loves to do so. Getting to know patients and their families and maintaining relationships with them over the years is a true joy for Dr. Mantel.

Education and Advanced Degree

Dr. Mantel has always had an eye for detail and aesthetics, as well as a fascination with science. She studied fine arts, molecular and cellular biology, and psychology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Mantel then attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Science and graduated first in her class. Furthering her education, Dr. Mantel obtained a Master of Science degree from the Marquette orthodontics program.

Outside the Office

Dr. Mantel is originally from Appleton, WI, and moved to the Cedarburg area with her husband, Chris, after dental school. They have three children—Isaac, Everett and Ayla—and a Poochon pup named Hilo. Their family can be seen outside every month of the year on bikes, skis, snowshoes and more. In the few moments that Dr. Mantel finds alone, she enjoys painting, crafting and reading. Volunteering with children in hospitals and at community events is what initially motivated Dr. Mantel to pursue a career in orthodontics and her passion for this will always continue to be integrated in both her work and personal life. She loves living in such a healthy and caring community and works hard to contribute to this philosophy. Mantel Orthodontics supports the Cedarburg Junior Women’s Club, the Cedarburg Track Club, the Cedarburg Education Foundation, the Cedarburg Athletic Booster Club, the Cedarburg Public Library, Northshore United Soccer Club, and many other organizations in the area.
